My journey through life has been a tumultuous yet transformative one, filled with challenges, triumphs, and a relentless pursuit of personal growth. I am a proud mother who raised four remarkable children single-handedly, instilling in them values of hard work, respect, and empathy. Their development into exceptional individuals fills me with immense pride and gratitude.

During the early years of my journey, when my third child was born, I found myself in government housing, struggling to keep an aging car on the road. It was a moment of reflection, holding my infant daughter and looking at my other two young children, that I resolved to change the trajectory of my life. Little did I know, the next 19 years would be a series of trials by fire.

My path was marked by numerous hurdles, including juggling college, battling cancer, and facing unwarranted negativity as a single mother. Despite the challenges, my children flourished, embodying values that often surpassed those of traditional two-parent households. These years were not without their share of toxicity, both externally and internally, with a mother who sought to undermine me through manipulative tactics and emotional abuse.

My journey through education was marked by interruptions due to financial constraints, mental health challenges, health setbacks, and sometimes, my own life choices. However, throughout this tumultuous period, I was quietly nurturing and developing my business, a journey that spanned over a decade. Frustrated by toxic work environments and the realization that I was making others wealthy while feeling trapped in my own life, I knew I had to make a change.

My life choices, friendships, partners, and work environments were all influenced by the recurring trauma I had allowed into my life. The zest for life that once defined me had waned. I had prided myself on resilience, believing that simply enduring hardships and moving forward was a sign of strength. I was mistaken.

In March of 2022, while pursuing my education, I encountered a breaking point that nearly consumed me. It was a moment of deep despair, where I believed the negative judgments of others were an accurate reflection of my worth. It was then that I reached out to the suicide hotline, ready to relinquish my grip on life.

This pivotal moment became a catalyst for change. I realized that existing solely for the sake of my children (one being one dead parent away from being Bruce Wayne haha), as vital as it was, could no longer be my sole purpose. I needed to confront the root of my struggles and embark on a journey of healing.

Over the ensuing months, I made the difficult decision to cut ties with individuals who were hindering my healing process. I dedicated myself to prioritizing my mental health, not only for my sake but for the well-being of my children and my own happiness. It was during this time that I received diagnoses of ADHD and CPTSD, shedding light on aspects of my journey that had long been shrouded in darkness.

As I pen these words, I find myself working tirelessly, burning the midnight oil to redesign my clients’ portfolios while simultaneously revamping my own website on a strict deadline. I’ve embraced a fierce determination to claim the success I’ve delivered to others for myself. No more excuses, no more obstacles—only a resolute commitment to success, hard work, and a healed version of myself that I, and anyone reading this, truly deserve.

This is not just my journey; it’s a testament to the enduring human spirit, the power of resilience, and the unwavering belief that we can overcome even the darkest of challenges to emerge stronger and more resilient than ever before.
